Background
Born in Botucatu, in the State of São Paulo, Celma began her career as an intern at the Public Prosecutor's Office in the city of São Paulo. She later became a partner at a law firm working with various medium and large-sized companies in the automotive industry. She then moved on to another law firm, specializing in tax planning while working in Corporate and Civil Law.
In 1999, she moved to Norway and in 2000, she participated in the integration program for Brazilians in Norway provided by the local government. Subsequently, she gained valuable experience working at one of the largest law firms in the region, serving as a Praksis Plass for two years, where she acquired proficiency in technical legal Norwegian, both spoken and written.
After completing all the necessary procedures and validating her education and diploma, she received permission in 2002 to provide legal assistance in Norway. In 2005, she opened her first office based in Sandnes, Rogaland, but with an international presence.
In 2008, she completed a master's degree in Social Security at the University of Stavanger, Stavanger, Norway, focusing her studies on comparing health, environmental, and safety regulations for the oil industry in Brazil and Norway. Her master's thesis focuses on risk regulation as a tool to improve regulations.
Since 2016, Celma has participated as a speaker in several editions of the Arctic Circle Assembly in Reykjavik, Iceland. In her latest study exploring the theme 'Brazil in the Arctic,' she made comparisons about the fragile ecosystems of both the Arctic and the Amazon.
